Charity Reservation Night
Up to $17,000 for your
organization in one night!
The Power House of Terror is a $90,000 volunteer community theatre production event that
has run during the month of October since 2008. We are a Haunted House located in
South Etobicoke, with a target attendance of over 10,000 visitors for 2010.
During our open public days, the Powerhouse of Terror is used to raise money for the
SickKids Foundation. This year, we have set aside 6 additional fundraising dates to help
other charities with their fundraising initiatives. We are offering organizations the choice of
two different options:
Option 1: 2,000 tickets will be allocated to your organization to sell at a discounted price
of $11.00 per ticket. On reconciliation, your organization will retain $5.00 per ticket and
$6.00 per ticket will go back to Charity Haunt Productions to cover the cost of the event
production.
For this option, there are no upfront costs, and you only pay the $6.00 on the tickets you
can sell, although we ask for a minimum ticket sale of 600 tickets. The remaining unsold
tickets must be returned with the reconciliation.
Option 2: Raise up to $17, 000 in one night. Your organization can pay a flat fee. Some organizations will sell discounted tickets for $11.00
each, others will get sponsors to cover the rental and offer the event free to their memberships
and supporters and take donations at the door.
Once your organization has been accepted and your fundraising date allocated, you will
receive 2000 tickets in the name of your organization to begin selling/distributing.
