If you answered “YES!” We want want you. We are looking for fun and responsible people to join our haunt crew.

Actor Requirements

No acting experience is necessary, but the job does require you to do your best. Acting in a haunt is both fun and rewarding. The power you have to entertain and scare people can be extremely exhilarating. We need creatures that can show up on time, work weekends, and have a love of Halloween. Keep in mind this position is not for everyone. It is not as easy as it sounds, but if you’re into scaring people in a fun environment, we would love to have you on our team.

Build and Set-up Crew

Have you ever built a dungeon? Put graves in a cemetery? Hooked up the mad scientist lab? Here is your chance! If you want to help create and set up and maintain our creepy scenes contact us. Construction experience helpful but not required.

Crowd Control

You must have good people skills. You are not bouncers. We don’t throw people out on their heads (sorry!). We need people who can handle a disruption without resorting to violence. You will also help open and close the attraction and keep our creatures safe.

Volunteering with us…

The Halloween haunted house entertainment production, Powerhouse of Terror runs the month of October and involves over 100 volunteers from GTA and beyond. Many volunteers come from the community ; high schools; colleges and universities, some of which come from Drama Arts and Theater. The volunteers have the opportunity to create the sets and scenery needed in the production as well as the execution and operations side of the project. The end result is a high quality production that is second to none in Toronto.

Want to scare all year round. Scare at GTA Ribfests and special events with our mobile scary haunted house attractions.

Haunted Theatre Production (October)

The Powerhouse of Terror – GTA’s Most Terrifying Haunted Attraction. Be part of one of Canada’s most feared attraction. All ages welcome and no experience necessary. Acting; event management; security; set design and set up; special event makeup; fashion and more.
